Spring (March – May)

Spring is one of the most pleasant times to visit Marbella.

This is a great time for golf, hiking, and sightseeing before the summer crowds arrive.

Summer (June – September)

July and August are the hottest and busiest months.
These months arent ideal for golf, most expats that can choose to spend summers in their home countries where the summers are much more pelasant. and rent out there homes as it is the highest price per night and occupancy percentage of the year.

Autumn (October – November)

Autumn remains warm and pleasant, especially early in the season.

• Average temperatures: 20–26°C in October

• More rainfall from November

Many locals say September and October are the best months in Marbella due to warm weather and fewer tourists.

Winter (December – February)

Winters in Marbella are mild compared with most of Europe.

However, Marbella and the Costa del Sol experienced unusally rainy years during 2025 and early 2026.

Can you swim in Marbella year-round?

Swimming is most comfortable from June to October, when sea temperatures are warm.
You wont catch me swimming anywhere outside those months, and usually only in July and August

Is Marbella warm in winter?
