The Green Spot

The Green Spot in Los Boliches, Fuengirola, is exactly the kind of place I’ve been missing on the Costa del Sol! Coming from Sweden, where salad bars are pretty much everywhere, I’ve always wondered why we don’t have more places where you can simply put together your own fresh, delicious salad for lunch. Well, The Green Spot has clearly seen that gap in the market!

The concept is simple, but that’s what I love about it. You can build your own salad with your favourite ingredients, proteins and dressings, or choose from their ready-made salads and bowls. They also have wraps, avocado toasts, açaí bowls, smoothies and fresh juices, so there’s actually quite a lot to choose from.

It’s a great option when you want something fresh and filling without going for a big restaurant lunch. They also offer takeaway and delivery, which is super convenient.

Another nice thing is that they have a kids’ menu, making it an option for families too.

Personally, I really hope we see more of this concept along the coast. Sometimes all you want is a proper, fresh salad with lots of options, and The Green Spot is a very welcome addition to the coast!
