La Sala Puerto Banús

La Sala Puerto Banús

La Sala Banús was the very first place I ever went to in Marbella and in many ways it still feels like the heartbeat of Puerto Banús. Everyone knows it, and plenty of places have tried to copy the formula since.

You can do breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and party. all in the same place
Saturdays are especially busy because of the nearby market
Sundays in winter offer sunday lunch

I worked there back in the day, so I know the energy well. It is a failsafe if you don’t know where to go, La Sala will always be busy. Sometimes it is loud, but that is part of the charm. There is live music every single day with different singers and performers.

You have not really done Puerto Banús until you have spent an evening here. The people behind it are ex UK footballers and you regularly spot celebrities passing through.

The crowd is mixed but mainly British. Dress code is flexible, just avoid sandals and shorts in the evening.

And yes, mention my name if you want a bit of street cred. I genuinely love the place.
