Cipriani Marbella

Cipriani Marbella is one of those places you save for something special. We went there for Valentine’s Day, Linda, me, and our 5-month old son, and it turned out to be a nice evening. It’s definitely on the fancy side, but not in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. The staff are very professional, proper high-class service, but still warm and welcoming.

Linda ordered the lobster pasta, and I went for the Wagyu. I’ll be honest, I’ve had Wagyu in quite a few places, and this was probably the best one I’ve had so far. Cooked perfectly and a proper portion too. Linda was also more than happy with her pasta.

The prices are on the higher side, there’s no way around that, but we were actually pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Sometimes at these kinds of places you leave a bit hungry, but that wasn’t the case here.

For dessert, we shared the tiramisu. According to Linda, who loves tiramisu and orders it almost everywhere, this was the best one in Marbella. I’ll take her word for it.

It’s a great spot whether you’re going for a romantic date night, a family dinner like we did, or even a dinner with friends. It feels elegant, but it still suits different occasions without being too much.
