Coya Marbella · Restaurant in Marbella

COYA Marbella is a Peruvian restaurant located at Puente Romano, in the same spot where the popular SupperClub used to be. I actually went here recently with a girlfriend, and I have to say, the food was really good! Coya is part of a restaurant group with Coya restaurants in different countries, for example there's one in Dubai.

The menu is inspired by Peruvian cuisine, with lots of different dishes that are perfect for sharing. I would definitely recommend ordering a few plates for the table so you can try a bit of everything. It's on the expensive side, as you would expect from a restaurant in Puente Romano, but the food was genuinely good. They also have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options, which I really appreciated. My friend is vegan and she was very happy with the food and the choices available.

The interiors are colourful and quite glamorous, with that typical Marbella feeling, and they also make really good cocktails. One thing to keep in mind is that the atmosphere changes throughout the evening. When we visited, the music got much louder after around 22:00, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner where you can talk for hours, I would recommend going earlier.

They also have a nightclub next door, and when we visited, you could get free entry if you had dinner at the restaurant, which is a nice bonus if you want to continue the evening!

I think COYA is a great option for a girls' night out, a birthday dinner or just an evening when you want good food, nice drinks and a bit of atmosphere. Definitely more of a dinner-and-drinks kind of place than a quiet romantic restaurant, but that's also part of the experience!

They also have their own Coya Pool Club, which you can visit during the summer season.
