I went to Pinocchio in Nerja and it was properly buzzing.

From the street it looks like a normal spot, but once you walk in you realise how big it actually is. There’s a massive outdoor area in the back that fills up quickly and the waiters are basically jogging back and forth trying to keep up. In a good way. It felt alive.

This isn’t some quiet romantic corner restaurant. It’s loud, social, families, groups, people sharing pizzas and wine. You feel like you’re part of something instead of just sitting at a table.
You often have a mariachi band come through the restaurant and people will stand up and clap or dance!

The pizzas were actually very good. Thin crust, good ingredients, not overloaded but generous enough. Simple and done properly. You could easily go back just for that.

Dress code is whatever you’re already wearing. summer clothes. No one is looking at you.

Prices are reasonable for Nerja. You can eat properly without feeling ripped off.

Service is fast considering how busy it gets.

If you want calm and intimate, this isn’t it. If you want energy, movement and solid pizza in the centre of Nerja, it works.
