The Cult is one of our favourite brunch spots in Marbella, and if you visit on a weekend, you’ll quickly notice we’re not the only ones who love it! It’s always full of people, with a lovely, lively atmosphere.

It’s Ukrainian-owned and serves all-day breakfast and brunch, but they also have a really nice lunch menu, with new dishes being added regularly. My personal favourite is their brioche with truffle, while Filip loves the steak and egg muffin. And if you haven’t tried their Ukrainian syrniki yet, you definitely should! They’re so good. They also have a nice selection of coffees and sweet treats.

We actually celebrated Atlas first birthday here, with almost 15 of us including the kids, and I can really recommend it for family gatherings. They arranged a lovely table for us (and a cake!) and what makes this place especially great for families is their kids’ playroom.

For €10 per hour, you can leave the kids in the playroom with staff looking after them while you enjoy your food and coffee. Such a nice concept, and honestly something I wish more restaurants along the coast would offer! The kids get to have fun, and the parents actually get to enjoy their brunch without having to run after them the whole time.

I think it’s a perfect place for a weekend breakfast or lunch, whether you’re going with friends, as a couple or with the whole family. Just keep in mind that it gets really busy, especially on weekends, so I would recommend going in time before getting too hungry.
