La Sala Puerto Banús

La Sala in Puerto Banús is honestly one of those legendary Marbella places that almost everyone knows! It has been around for years, and it's actually a bit special to us because Filip used to work here when he first moved to Marbella over a decade ago. So this place definitely comes with some memories!

What I really like about La Sala is that it's one of those places where you know you'll have a fun evening. The food is really good, with a big menu offering everything from steaks and seafood to salads, burgers and other international favourites. And considering you're right in the middle of Puerto Banús, I actually think the prices are quite reasonable compared to many other restaurants in the area.

But La Sala is definitely more than just the food. They have great drinks, live music and such a fun atmosphere. The music is often a mix of old favourites from the 90s and early 2000s, which I personally love! It's the kind of place where you might come for dinner and end up staying much longer than planned.

The crowd is also quite interesting because you'll find people of all ages here, from groups in their 20s to people in their 60s and 70s, although I would say it's mostly a middle-aged crowd. It's very international, but definitely with a strong British presence, which has always been part of La Sala's character.

They also organise themed evenings and events throughout the year. Their Thursday Ladies' Night is a popular one, where they have offered complimentary cava with dinner, and there's often some kind of live entertainment going on. Definitely worth checking their events calendar before visiting!

And if you're in Marbella around Christmas, La Sala is especially worth a visit. They go all out with the decorations, turning the restaurant into such a beautiful and festive place. It's one of those spots that really gets you into the Christmas spirit!

I think La Sala is a great choice if you want a proper dinner with good food, nice drinks and a lively atmosphere, without paying some of the crazy prices you can find elsewhere in Puerto Banús. Whether you're going with friends, as a couple or celebrating something, it's one of those Marbella classics that never really goes out of style.
