Finca Cortesín is the most famous course in this corner of the coast and one of the best in Spain. Cabell B. Robinson designed it, and it opened in 2006. It is a par 72 of close to 7,000 metres from the back tees, one of the longest courses in Europe. The holes run through a valley of olive trees and wild hillside, with no housing along the course and sea views from the high ground. More than 100 bunkers and very quick greens defend the par. Known holes include the par-5 3rd, with water before the green, the downhill par-3 10th, and the long double-dogleg par-5 11th. The club hosted the Solheim Cup in 2023 and three Volvo World Match Play championships between 2009 and 2012. It is a hard course: higher handicaps should use the forward tees and expect to lose balls. The 2026/27 high-season rate on the operator lists is 385 to 460 euros, with the GPS buggy, range balls, water and fruit included.

A Golf Title: 90,000 euros to join then 5,300 a year, or the family title at 137,500 and 10,600, VAT on top. No initiation fee beyond the title, and memberships can be sold on with a 10 percent transfer fee (verified with the club, Sep 2026).
A two level range by the clubhouse, a grass line plus 20 mats and four target greens; balls are included on the day you play.
The Club House restaurant takes public reservations, daily 8 to 6.

User reviews on Top100GolfCourses sit at the top of the scale. Players praise the condition, the fast greens, the service and the quiet setting with no houses around. The repeated warnings: many say the price makes it a course for a special day rather than every week, the layout punishes high handicaps, and a few reviewers reported slow rounds.
The course and the greens
Reviewers rate this among the best kept courses in Spain, with quick greens full of slopes. The club rebuilt the greens in summer 2025, and visitors this year report great condition, though a few found the new surfaces slow at first.
