Greenlife Golf
A par-three course and academy in Elviria Hills, beside the El Lago restaurant.
🛰️ The course from the sky↓
Greenlife is a nine-hole par-3 course in the Elviria Hills, above Santa María and ten kilometres from Marbella centre. It opened in 2000 as part of the Greenlife Estates development. The holes run from 89 to 169 metres, so you use real irons, not just a wedge. Almost 500 trees line the way, carob, olive, pine and palm, a lake touches holes 1 and 2, and a stream runs along holes 5 and 9. Narrow fairways make it a genuine short-game test as well as a place to learn. The site also has a driving range with a golf school, tennis courts, a gym and the well-known El Lago restaurant. It is open to the public and prices are small: in 2026, nine holes cost 25 to 29 euros by season, an all-day unlimited ticket 32 to 35 euros, juniors from 16 euros, and a yearly membership 667 euros. Beginners, families and players working on their irons get the most from it.
The club's own 2026 price: 29 euros a round, club rental 17, no booking needed. Open 9:00 to 14:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 16:00 at weekends.
A yearly membership is 667 euros (verified with the club, 2026).
28 Toptracer bays, the biggest Toptracer centre in Andalucía; 40 balls for 4 euros, open daily.
The clubhouse's upper floor holds El Lago, a Michelin starred restaurant open to everyone.
What the internet says
Numbers here are modest. Leadingcourses users score it 5.6 from 18 reviews (read 2026), a low mark for the area, and Hole19 players rate it 3.3 of 5, well under El Soto, the other par-3 nearby. There is no meaningful Golfshake history. Reviews and directory write-ups praise the quiet setting, the tree-lined holes and the fair prices, and the Málaga province guide notes narrow, well-kept fairways. The warning: reviews are few and ageing, and the platform scores sit clearly below every other short course around Marbella, so expectations should stay at practice-course level.
The course and the greens
The club itself says the course is not in its best shape this year because of seasonal maintenance, and suggests experienced players keep that in mind before booking (verified with the club, Sep 2026).
Arrival and the welcome
Reviewers describe warm, kind staff at reception. One beginner wrote about a very friendly welcome from the golf pros and the other players.
