Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Norte
🛰️ The course from the sky↓
The North Course is Guadalmina's second eighteen, across the road from the South on the hill side of the estate. Folco Nardi, an Italian cavalry colonel turned course designer, laid it out in the 1970s; the club dates his work to 1977, while most guides say it opened in 1973. The club lists it as par 72 and 5,600 metres from the white tees, so it is clearly shorter than the South. It is also hillier and has more water: the Arroyo del Chopo stream affects holes 8, 12, 16, 17 and 18. The fairways are wider and the greens are flat and lightly defended, so a poor drive can still be saved. Most golfers find it the easier and friendlier of the two courses, a good choice for higher handicaps or a second round. The visitor rate card shows 115 euros (2025); the club's 2026 budget uses 150 euros. The club also has a nine-hole par-3 course and a covered range.
The published card says 115 euros (2025); the club budgeted 150 for 2026.
A shareholders' club. A share is bought from a selling member, about 10,000 to 12,000 euros, then the entrance fee is 18,000 (10,000 for a partner). Yearly dues 2026: 2,220 unlimited, or 1,256 plus 20 euros a round, or 1,010 for summer and Easter only; juniors 500 (verified with the club, Aug 2026).
Forty bays, 21 of them covered, with Toptracer.
The main restaurant and upper terrace stay members only until 7 in the evening; after that it opens up.
What the internet says
Public reviews mostly rate Guadalmina as one club. Leadingcourses scores it 7.6 from 108 reviews (read 2026) and Golfshake 3.6 of 5 from 22, with 100 percent ready to return. On Hole19 the Norte alone is rated 4.4 by players who logged rounds there. Reviewers call the North relaxing and good exercise, with the same well-kept greens as the South. The warning themes repeat from the club reviews: value for money, tee boxes needing work, and homes close to play.
The course and the greens
Reviewers say the course holds up well despite heavy play, with good greens and fairways. Some feel the greens are good rather than outstanding.
Arrival and the welcome
