La Cala Resort, Short Course

The Short Course is La Cala Resort's fourth course, opened on 4 July 2025. It is a nine-hole par 3 beside the driving range and academy, in the area the resort now calls the Golf Hub, and it replaced the old six-hole academy loop. The holes run over the same rolling ground as the big courses, with raised tees and sea views, but a round takes about an hour. It is built for families, juniors and beginners, and for better players who want short-game work with a card in hand. Kids under 12 play free with a paying adult, which no other course in the area offers. In 2026 adults pay 25 euros for nine holes and 35 euros for eighteen; juniors under 17 pay 18 and 25 euros. The Golf Hub around it, with an upgraded academy, is due to finish in 2026.

What the internet says

Too new for the platforms: by mid-2026 neither Leadingcourses nor Golfshake carried scored reviews for the Short Course as a separate listing, so there are no independent numbers to report yet. Early golf-press coverage from July 2025 describes elevated tees, sea views and a genuine short-game test rather than a pitch and putt. No warning themes have built up yet either; this entry will be rechecked once real player scores exist.
