La Noria Golf

⛳ 9 holes · par 33 Francisco Navarro Collado · 2003 La Cala de Mijas
🛰️ The course from the sky

La Noria is a nine-hole course a few minutes behind the beach at La Cala de Mijas. Francisco Navarro Collado designed it, and it opened in December 2003. The nine holes are par 33: four par 3s, four par 4s and one par 5. The land is completely flat and easy to walk, with four bridges over the stream that crosses the course. That stream and three lakes are the whole defence, and they guard almost every approach shot, so the course stays interesting for good players while beginners can get round without losing a dozen balls. It is one of the friendliest places to start golf in the area, and the club presents itself that way: small, family run, relaxed. There is a driving range, a putting green and a bar terrace over the course. In 2026 nine holes cost 29 to 34 euros and eighteen holes 43 to 53 euros depending on season.

What the internet says

On Golfshake it scores 4.4 from 15 reviews, and every reviewer says they would play again (read 2026). Hole19 players rate it 4.5, while Leadingcourses is more reserved at 7.3 from 43 reviews, the most mixed of its scores. Players like the flat walking, the friendly staff, the prices and the tricky shots over water. The warning theme is maintenance: most visits find the course in good order, but several reviewers report worn greens and thin grass in dry months.

The course and the greens

Reviewers say the course is usually tidy and well kept, with quick greens on good days. A few visits found the greens below their best.

Arrival and the welcome

Visitors describe the staff as friendly and very helpful. Several reviews simply call them nice people.
