Club de Golf La Siesta

⛳ 9 holes · par 27 Enrique Canales Busquets · 1989 Calahonda
🛰️ The course from the sky

La Siesta is a nine-hole par-3 course inside the Sitio de Calahonda urbanisation, between La Cala de Mijas and Marbella. Enrique Canales Busquets designed it, and it opened in 1989. All nine holes are par 3s, about 870 metres in total, with sea views from the clubhouse terrace. It is a community club in the real sense: built for the people who live around it and run as a private club, but visitors are welcome. The holes vary enough that the seventh can need a wood from the tee, so a round here is proper short-game practice, not just pitch and putt. There is a practice area with nets, a putting green, club hire and a bar restaurant. The club does not publish a full online price list; directory listings in 2026 show about 22 to 27 euros for nine holes. Call or email the club to book.

What the internet says

The public review record is small, which fits a community course. Leadingcourses shows 8.0 from 11 reviews (read 2026), a high score from a small sample, and Golfshake lists the course with no scored reviews yet. Player reports elsewhere praise the raised greens, the variety for a par-3 layout and the relaxed welcome, and regulars describe it as usually well kept. The warning theme: condition has slipped at times, including one detailed report of weed-damaged greens, so recent photos are worth a check before visiting.

The course and the greens

Reviews are mixed and change with the season. Some visitors found the greens good and quite fast, but others reported hard, bare greens.

Arrival and the welcome

Visitors say they were warmly received at this small club. The staff and the restaurant team get friendly words in most reviews.
