Real de La Quinta, El Lago Club

El Lago Club is the sports and wellness club of Real de La Quinta, a new resort estate in the hills above the original La Quinta valley in Benahavís. Its six-hole course is the newest golf in the area. Manuel Piñero designed it around the resort's 36,000 square metre lake, and the club opened in June 2026. The course has one par 5, three par 4s and two par 3s; the printed card runs to 1,700 metres from the back tees. The greens are large, around 600 square metres, and each can hold two flags. With different tees and flags you can play the loop three times as a full 18, set up from par 66 to par 72. The ground is gentle enough to walk with a trolley. Piñero kept the planting native and left an unwatered buffer at hole 2 to protect the lake. Play is for members and residents, with membership capped at 450. The resort has not published green fees or any visitor access.

What the internet says

There are no player scores for this course yet. It is too new. We checked the review platforms in August 2026, and none of them list it. The only accounts so far come from the resort's own channels, and those read as marketing. Every claim about the course is the club's own information until independent reviews appear; real scores will be added when they exist.
