El Ancla

El Ancla is a beachfront seafood restaurant at Linda Vista Playa in San Pedro de Alcántara, with a seawater pool and sunbeds on one side and two dining rooms on the other.

This is one of our go-to’s, especially during summer when we go for a day by the pool. It’s also a restaurant we always bring visitors or people who are new in town to, because it never disappoints. It just has a great Spanish vibe with a beautiful sea view.

The poolside is great for families with kids. It’s not a party pool vibe at all, more of a relaxed family pool day. We go here often with Atlas and it works really well with a small child.

Fish and shellfish are the main point here, so most of the menu is focused on that. Filip, who only eats meat, still has a few options, but it’s maybe 3 meat dishes vs. 20 fish options. So if you’re a fish and seafood lover, this place is definitely for you!

It’s a great restaurant for groups or families with kids since it can get a bit noisy and lively. Sundays are usually full of big Spanish families having long lunches, which is part of the charm.

Sunbeds cost around €50 for the whole day (2026 prices), which for this location is actually a good price. It’s also slightly renovated during 2026.
