The Beach La Reserva Club Sotogrande

If you’re looking for a family-friendly beach club / pool club on Costa Del Sol, The Beach at La Reserva Club Sotogrande is one we keep coming back to. It’s become a favorite for us, especially now with our son.

What makes it different from a typical beach club is that it’s built around a large artificial lagoon with a sandy beach. The sand is genuinely good quality, and the whole setup is designed to feel like a proper beach, just in a more controlled and comfortable environment.

For families, it works really well. There’s a dedicated kids’ area and a kids’ club with organised activities, so it’s not just about sitting around, there’s actually enough going on to keep them busy. One of the highlights is the sports lagoon, which is quite unique. It’s a large man-made lake where kids (and adults) can try things like paddle boarding, kayaking, and other water activities in a safe environment.

At the same time, it doesn’t feel like a noisy kids park. The whole place is well organised, clean, and a bit more on the refined side, which is typical for Sotogrande. Also, you have an adult-only pool area if you're going without kids and want more relaxing and quite hours in the sun.

Overall, it’s a really good option if you want somewhere that genuinely works for both parents and kids, relaxed enough to enjoy the day, but with enough activities to keep things interesting. And you know what? Their pool is heated during winter season. -
